The real estate agency "Abitare in Salento" was born from the initiative of a Salento entrepreneur, Vincenza Marzo, who, thanks to her decades of experience in the field, has turned her profession as a real estate agent into a mission of absolute commitment and dedication to serving her clients, becoming a consolidated reality in the real estate panorama of Salento.

The Abitare in Salento real estate agency is located in Santa Maria di Leuca, a fraction of Castrignano del Capo, in the province of Lecce. This enchanting place is characterized by a rocky coast and crystalline sea, making it one of the most fascinating places in the world. The ancient Romans, due to its geographical position, called it "De Finibus Terrae," meaning "At the ends of the earth."

In addition to Roman beliefs, this wonderful land boasts a millennia-long history, with the earliest traces of life dating back to the Paleolithic era. Situated between Punta Ristola and Punta Meliso, this location favored landings from the east and nearby Greece. The first Greek sailors, arriving in this corner of paradise, called it Leukos, which means "White Light - Illuminated by the sun."

Leuca has always been a sought-after destination, so much so that the temple of the goddess Minerva was transformed by the apostle Peter into a church dedicated to the Madonna, from which the name Santa Maria di Leuca derives.

Today, the town attracts hundreds of tourists, thanks to its elegance and refinement, to admire the wonders that time has bestowed upon it: from the sumptuous nineteenth-century villas to the magnificent sanctuary of the Basilica "De Finibus Terrae," to the characteristic Lighthouse, whose light extends for 50 kilometers. Starting from 1800, Santa Maria di Leuca becomes a destination for the summer residence of the Puglian aristocracy, giving rise to numerous nineteenth-century villas built in various styles, mainly by architects Ruggeri and Rossi, which today represent a unique and invaluable heritage of the city of Leuca.
